CURRICULUM DELIVERY
We understand that:
- sustained mastery takes time and that pace must be appropriate for deep learning to take place.
- time must be given for children to talk and discuss, to make mistakes and to learn from them.
Our curriculum content is subject specific and intra-curricular (interdisciplinary) links are planned for and made throughout, to strengthen the development of schema.
Some aspects of the curriculum are taught through the effective use of continuous provision e.g. through daily routines, retrieval practice for previously learning and regular reference to the classroom environment.
